Under this Department we offer The BE in Mechanical Engineeringa comprehensive degree program. The aim of the mechanical engineering curriculum is to create dynamic and versatile undergraduates having educational knowledge with experience in engineering science, designing, modeling and manufacturing.

Principal study topics include fluid mechanics, thermodynamics & heat transfer, solid mechanics, materials engineering, manufacturing, energy systems, dynamics & control, computer aided design, computer integrated manufacturing and other.

We aim to provide our students with academic courses that are designed for their development with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering, and the capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary field and providing technical expertise.

1.Graduates will be engaged in learning and professional development through solving mechanical engineering problems based on data interpretation, design, experiment and analysis of results in mechanical engineering and also in other allied fields.

2.To prepare graduate engineers with a strong the academic background in field of Mechanical Engineering.

3. Graduates will apply their engineering skills, exhibiting criticalthinking and problem solving skills in professional mechanical engineering practices or tackle social, technical and business challenges.

4.Ability to work in teams on multi-disciplinary projects in industry and research organizations.
